چکیده
Opportunistic fungal infections due to the immune- compromised status of renal transplant patients are related high rates morbidity and mortality regardless their minor incidence. Delayed in identification invasive (IFIs), will lead delayed treatment results those populations. The study aimed assess frequency infection kidney recipients by conventional molecular methods. This included 100 (KTR) (75 males, 25 females), collected from Centre Kidney Diseases Transplantation Medical City Baghdad. Blood samples were during period June 2018 April 2019. Twenty one out renal-transplanted infected with pathogenic fungi, four females 17 males. There is an observation a incidence fungemia abnormal value blood urea according PCR culture results. Referring isolates most prevalent was Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which account for 19 21 other two Zygosaccharomyces rouxii Aspergillus flavus. current show significant correlation between methods at (P<0.0009).

Background and Purpose: Fungal keratitis is a suppurative, ulcerative, and sight-threatening infection of the cornea that sometimes leads to blindness. The aims of this study were: recuperating facilities for laboratory diagnosis, determining the causative microorganisms, and comparing conventional laboratory diagnostic tools and semi-nested PCR. Materials and Methods: Sampling was conducted in...
متن کاملMolecular identification of pathogenic fungi.
Systemic fungal infections represent a major cause of morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised patients. The ever-increasing number of yeast species associated with human infections that are not covered by conventional identification kits, and the fact that moulds isolated from deep infections are frequently impossible to identify using classical methods due to lack of sporulation, has driv...

In this Round Table, the application of several methods of molecular typing were discussed in reference to four important pathogenic fungi: Coccidioides immitis, Histoplasma capsulatum, Candida albicans and Paracoccidioides brasiliensis. Among the different methods the following were discussed: restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLP), single nucleotide polymorphisms, random amplified p...
